• The initial meeting of the Board of Directors was held in October, 2002.  Valley Virtual Remote Learning Academy (formerly Mahoning Unlimited Classroom) was chartered as an Ohio Community School in September, 2003, and is administered by a Governing Board that includes the following members:

    • Mr. Timothy Saxton, Superintendent, Boardman Local Schools
    • Mrs. Susan Wickwire, Parent 
    • Mr. Arthur Daly, Vice President of Eastern Gateway Community College
    • Mr. John Zehentbauer, Superintendent, Mahoning County Career and Technical Center
    • Dr. Geno Thomas, Superintendent, Lowellville Local Schools
